What are the check-in and check-out times at Hotel Sylva?

Check-in begins at 4pm, and check-out is by 11am. Early check-ins and late check-outs
are based on availability for a fee of $25 each. If you’d like to request one, just let the
front desk know in advance and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Hotel Sylva is pet-friendly! There is a $60 per night pet fee, and we’ll send over a quick
pet waiver to complete before arrival. We kindly ask that pets are not left unattended in
guest rooms and remain on a leash while on property. If you’re bringing a pet, just let us
know so we can accommodate appropriately.

Sylva’s Social District is a designated area in downtown Sylva where guests can enjoy
an alcoholic beverage outdoors. It is a special exception to North Carolina’s open
container law. In other words, you can sip and stroll responsibly while exploring our

Yes! Hotel Sylva offers Social District mugs for purchase. Guests can bring their mug to
participating bars, get a drink to-go, and enjoy a walk around downtown within the
Social District boundaries. Mugs are $18 and can easily be added to your reservation or
purchased during your stay.

Yes, Hotel Sylva is family-friendly! Our Double Queen rooms are perfect for families and
offer plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring the mountains.

Absolutely! We often have WCU families as we are only a short drive from their campus

Yes, we have a conference room and shared workspace for our guests that can also be
reserved as a private conference room that seats up to 12 people.
